During this practice we will slow it down, break down the postures and guide people through Yoga at a fun and easy pace. You will learn fundamental alignment principles and modifications for postures, how to master your breath and listen to key verbal cues. Each week we pick a new posture to focus on and breakdown. If you are new to yoga or just looking to increase your knowledge on the fundamentals, this class is for you.

This class is for those with no yoga experience, the beginner, athletes looking for cross-training and students who value additional insight into the practice. It is perfect for anyone seeking movement different from their regular routine. We teach the basic foundational poses to facilitate body awareness while starting with refining the breath, followed by combining breath with movement. No bendy bodies or PhDs in philosophy required.

Puja means offering and ours will be an early morning ceremony on the mat. Seated, we will start with a simple prayer, then pranayama, followed by mantra with mudra, and finally samkalpa, or intention setting. There will be a short posture practice or you can choose to remain in a seated meditation. Your practice closes when the time is right for you.
